CARE in 2016 on its way

by Jan Mester

The 2016 Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program dates in Jefferson County will be Wednesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 17th in 22 Louisville high schools. This year will be the eighth year of presentations about responsible use of credit.  Attorneys and judges will visit schools and talk with students about budgeting, types of credit used by teens, tips for car loans, identity theft and the expenses related to college.  The CARE program is coordinated by an Advisory Committee of legal professionals and funded by the Kentucky Bar Foundation.
